Right before I discovered Sistxrs In Christ and attended their first ever woman’s conference. I put in prayer that I wanted to grow in my faith and asked the Lord to find a community where I can be myself and be surrounded by woman of faith! Soon, I saw my friend Jasmine post a Bible study on her story and she tagged Sistxrs in Christ. I’ve see her post before but never paid much attention, but this time God put on my heart to inquire about the group. Shortly after they posted about their first ever conference and I had this huge excitement to attend!
Once I stepped foot to the conference I felt a very peaceful presence. It wasn’t until after the event when I realized I felt the presence of Jesus! I was in such an awe and realized then it was Jesus that I was missing in my life! Shortly after the conference I joined Sistxrs In Christ, accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and got baptized to rededicate my life to the Lord!
